A special thanks to all those who got involved…

October 30, 2007 · 1 Comment

All your hard work has paid off… I was about to say it’s all “BCS” but tonight I was surfing on the Ducks website and read the following:

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. at Autzen Stadium with a live national telecast on ESPN and regional telecast on FSN Arizona, FSN West and FSN Northwest.

That’s right folks because of your emails and prayers the ASU/Oregon is on national television. There is unity between the Pac-10 and ESPN and now the commanded blessing has been poured out on all of us. I appreciate all the advice and encouragement from the life of Joseph… Enjoy the game folks – you know where I’ll be.

Asking for your help (part 2)

October 30, 2007 · Leave a Comment

I appreciate all the support and and advice on this weekend’s challenge with the ASU/Oregon game. Matt had an insightful comment:

I actually heard on ESPN radio today that it’s the Pac-10 who is causing the issue. Apparently their television contract is pretty weak, and ABC/ESPN is practically begging to cover the game. Maybe you should forward your email on to them.

In an attempt to help you with our continued campaign to get this game on national TV I’m providing a contact with the PAC-10… Thomas Hansen, PAC-10 Commissioner – thansen@pac-10.org. Feel free to let Thomas Hansen know that you’re interested in seeing the game on national TV.

I’m asking for your help!!!

October 28, 2007 · 5 Comments

So I’ve been doing a little research and it appears that College Game Day will be coming from Eugene, Oregon this coming Saturday… however it appears the highest ranking game of the weekend, Arizona (#4) and Oregon (#5), isn’t going to be televised nationwide… ARE YOU KIDDING ME (part two)!!!! Only being shown on the Oregon Sports Network – which I believe is part of the ESPN plus network. So by my reckoning shouldn’t it be contractually feasible that the ASU/Oregon game could be and should be televised nationally.

So I’m starting an email campaign to see if we can get it televised at least in Albany, NY.
Click here to email ESPN/ABC Sports.

Just to make it even easier here’s some content you can copy and paste:

I’m writing to request that the highest ranking game of this coming weekend – Arizona State verse Oregon would be televised nationally this weekend. I understand that College Game Day will be coming from Eugene Oregon and it’s my sincere hope that a national audience will be able to this game.

Don’t bother me next Saturday…

October 27, 2007 · Leave a Comment

ducks.jpg Guess what? The Ducks won again… but the great news is I was able to watch the game on MSG. Way to go – Saturday afternoon, a Ducks win… great afternoon. Just don’t bother me next Saturday – surely the east coast bias can’t extend to the #4 team (Arizona State) playing the #5 team (Oregon) at Autzen… It must be on national TV!? So don’t bother me next Saturday you know what I’ll be doing. Surely Oregon must be in with some sort of chance to get a shot at the national championship… after all they have the sixth toughest schedule in the country.

Who’s in your entourage?

October 26, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Been buried preparing for this weekend… been focusing on the idea that God wants all of us to have, and be a part of other people’s entourages. Who’s got your back? Who do you let speak into your life? We all have an inbuilt desire to want to grow and change (take 30 seconds to think of some areas you would like to grow in or change – I bet you’ll come up with a few). The question is what’s God’s plan to help you grow and change… more on Sunday.
